The School of Social Work at the University of Minnesota, home for the Learning Dreams program, was founded in 1917 and today ranks as one of the best schools of social work in the country. Dr. Jerry Stein, formerly with the University of Minnesota Extension Service, joined the School of Social Work as a Senior Fellow in 2005 to create and direct the School's Project on Youth and Community Learning.
